News & Updates 8/9/08!
  • We are now a part of New Song Associated Ministries.  It is the
"non-network" network formed by Marc Dupont.  We love the
heart behind New Song, it's purpose is for leaders to find 1)
prophetic and apostolic encouragement through relationship,
and 2) life giving relationships with peers.  We love relationship
and have found ourselves in a new season of discovering how
important our family, friends and mentors are to us.  The body of
Christ is beautiful and we are a part!  Yay, God!
  • We  also finished a 4 month road trip this year and have settled in
Redding, California and attend Bethel Church.

Relocating and Big Changes  8/11/09

We've had big changes in the last 2 months and wanted to share
those with you.  Last year we were offered a job with some good
friends as worship pastors in Clayton, NC.  We really felt the Lord
said to take off a year before we accept any position.  In that year, we
settled in Redding, California to go to Bethel Chruch.  We loved it
soaking up the teachings, the worship and praying about what God
had for our future.

In the beginning of the year the Lord said it's time to join their
ministry and set the move date.  We moved 6/20 and the summer has
been a wonderful time of settling.

The Lord has really blessed us with so many amazing financial
miracles in this last few months and is definitely moving us into a
new season!  Yeah God for new seasons!  We're still travelling part-
time but are really enjoying pastoring the worship and arts
department at New Bethel Church.  NBC is part of Global Legacy,
which is a ministry of Bethel Church.   There are many prophetic
words about the area we've moved to (Raleigh, Clayton, Durham)
that the next big move of God is coming and coming soon.

One of the visions the Lord has given us for this upcoming season is
to plant a worship school.  The school has been on our heart as a
couple and individually since before we were married!

God is good and we can't wait to experience more of it!

Hello from Owen!   10/23/2008

We've been so excited about what God is doing that we wanted to
shout it out!  We just returned from a three week trip to Michigan and
Ohio and ministered in 5 churches. What was cool is that 2 of the
churches were vineyard churches and the door to minister in them
happened after connecting with the pastors over coffee.  The Holy
Spirit showed up during coffee (my favorite time to be with the Holy
Spirit) and before I knew it, they asked if I could come to their
churches.

The focus of our ministry has become all about experiencing Jesus.
We realize that if you can help someone experience Jesus, worship
will flow in new depths.  It's easy for Christians to worship from the
last thing He did or someone else's experience with Him but without
everyday, relationship with Him, experiencing who He is, how do we
experience new depths?  So often, worship leaders expect people to
worship without knowing what or why they are doing it and it can
become stale.  Our passion is increasing to impart relationship,
experience and seeing worship go deeper!

On the Saturday night, in Michigan, we saw so many healings. Whoo,
GOD!  Hips, toothache, shoulders, and knees, etc. – it was so
amazing! It was great to return to a church in Toledo and hear how
someone's life had gone from hopeless to hopeful and now is now
flourishing because of what was shared the last time we were there.
Our most favorite workshop to do with churches is one on creativity.
Jesus told us to help people realize how creative they are. Once you
help them – they can fly. We did two of these in different churches.
Seeing what came out of these sessions were incredible. We also
were so excited to be with Marc and Kim Dupont.  We are a part of
their apostolic network and attended their annual conference for
New Song while we were there.  We were so blessed by the
fellowship in the network and felt refreshed and renewed coming
away from it.

The last Tuesday night before I came home, I went to a youth group
in Springfield, OH.  Each Tuesday night they get about 50 – 60 teens
coming to their youth meeting of which only about 5-10% are saved.
I did some really interactive worship with them and watched them
experience Jesus. It was incredible.  I shared testimonies of who
Jesus is and what He's done for me. Then I asked who wanted to
receive Jesus into their hearts and about 25 or more teen raised their
hands. I spoke to Goth kids afterwards that were holding back tears
because of the realization that Jesus loves them. Wow, Jesus, You
are amazing!!!!!
